CONCEPT
Flats are situated in the old historical building near the centre of Brno. It is historically protected so the building with the new function, facade and roof has the original shape which has to be preserved. There is one underground floor used as a background and storage, ground floor used as an administration space and garages and under the roof is space for two floors of flats with big terraces on both sides.
Investor wanted just two duplex apartments. The bigger one with two separated housing units has 500 m2 and the smaller one is about 100 m2. Terraces provide another 300 m2. Flats are connected by the view and communication axes and lighted by big windows. Also very important is connection between living rooms, bedrooms and the terraces which provide nature, relax and amazing view on the monuments of Brno.
